FAQ'S

What is the cost to move a mobile home?

There are many variables when moving a mobile or manufactured home. The size of the home plays a large role. Is it a double-wide or single-wide? How far is the home being moved. When it comes to moving your mobile or manufactured home, the best way to get an estimate is for us to conduct an onsite inspection of both locations. While we are there, we will look at the terrain, trees, and all aspects of the move then once we have done that, we take the information back to the home office to prepare a quote.

How often should I have my manufactured / mobile home re-leveled?

There are many factors when considering leveling, or releveling, a manufactured / mobile home. Foundation type, material, age, erosion and drainage, just to name a few. Like a vehicle, it is recommended that manufactured and mobile homes are releveled annually.

How do I know if my manufactured / mobile home needs to be releveled?

Identifying a manufactured / mobile home that needs releveled isn't alway visible. However, if you see the "obvious" indicators, they might resemble these: bricks or pillars underneath missing, tipped over or broke; skirting or underpinning that has begun to bulge or pop out from under the home; internally you may see cracking along the marriage line if it is a double wide; doors or windows that no longer close or open, or become difficult to operate.

The signs mentioned above are not all inclusive and don't always mean that your home should be releveled. BUT, if you see these signs, you probably should have it checked out.

What is the cost to re-level my manufactured / mobile home?

There is no cut and dry answer when it comes to the cost of releveling a mobile home or manufactured home. Prices vary based on size of the home. Is the home a double-wide? Single-wide? How long is the home? How many pillars need to be replaced - if any? How old is the mobile home / manufactured home? Was the home installed correctly the first time? Is the home setup according to state standards today?
